The “道藏-道法會元 Dao Zang – Dao Fa Hui Yuan” volume one hundred and fifty-six chapter twenty, discribes the “元帥帝鐘”, the Marshals Bell.

Function of the Talisman on the Marshals Bell:
The talisman symbols on the bell manifesting “黑炁 Black Qi” to incarnate as a “元帥 marshal”, leading thirty-six generals, guards left and right, fire clouds galloping in the sky, surrounded by 300,000 soldiers.
After reciting the great incantation one can see the marshal holding a fire bell, with the Tong Zi seal in his left hand, and a demon seal in his right. Another 300,000 soldiers were sent to surround the gate of hell. Stepping twelve Worshipping-Steps (步十二辰罡).
The marshal leading the troops of the ghost gate all over the world. Riding a dragon spitting flames and swallow ghosts and spirits. The marshal tapped the dragon’s horn three times with his left hand, the dragon roared loudly and all ghosts fell to the ground.Use the marshals method to send troops to surround the nine layers.
The talisman was taken from the dragon’s mouth, but quickly was covered with fire again. This talisman greatly benefits the living and the dead, immortals gathering, and disasters are dissolved. Kept by the “Tian Peng” messenger (天蓬使者), the four-eyed old Weng (四目老翁), leading the department of the sword-wielding heavenly soldiers. Ghosts and spirits do not dare.

靈官衛我，天魔助我 líng guān wèi wǒ, tiān mó zhù wǒ

北帝保我，虎狼避我 běi dì bǎo wǒ, hǔ láng bì wǒ
惡人遠我，貴人敬我 è rén yuǎn wǒ, guì rén jìng wǒ
急急如律令敕 jí ji rú lǜ lìng chì

鐘符咒 Zhōng fú zhòu:
皓首仙翁，五帝大神 Hào shǒu xiān wēng, wǔ dì dà shén
火鈴帝鐘，法通天真 huǒ líng dì zhōng, fǎ tōng tiān zhēn
天蓬元帥，撼動玉宸 tiān péng yuán shuài, hàn dòng yù chén
護鐘神吏，鼓鐘將軍 hù zhōng shén lì, gǔ zhōng jiāng jūn
齊鐘造化，無所不聞 qí zhōng zào huà, wú suǒ bù wén
萬魔滅跡，百川沸騰 wàn mó miè jī,bǎi chuān fèi téng
上聞紫極，下及幽冥 shàng wén zǐ jí, xià jí yōu míng
何神不服，何鬼敢聽 hé shén bù fú, hé guǐ gǎn tīng

山川百靈，聞我須驚 Shān chuān bǎi líng, wén wǒ xū jīng
潔劫大道，照天之精 jié jié dà dào, zhào tiān zhī jīng
日月永固。百魅石神 rì yuè yǒng gù. Bǎi mèi shí shén
山嶽隨我，江河拱迎 shān yuè suí wǒ, jiāng hé gǒng yíng

山川百靈，五嶽四溟 Shān chuān bǎi líng, wǔ yuè sì míng
聞我神鐘，萬鬼鹹驚 wén wǒ shén zhōng, wàn guǐ xián jīng
浩劫大道，照察天精 hào jié dà dào, zhào chá tiān jīng
日月永固，百神擁護 rì yuè yǒng gù, bǎi shén yǒng hù
