First council meeting of the World Daoist Federation

On March 24, 2024, the first Conference of the World Daoist Federation and the first meeting of the first council were held in Luyi, Henan.

Daoist from 28 countries and regions participated in the event. Chen Ruifeng, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the State Administration of Religious Affairs, and Li Guangfu, Chairman of the World Daoist Federation, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

 

Representatives attending the meeting gather in the hometown of Daoist ancestor and pay tribute to the memory of Daoist ancestor Lao Zi, but also a search for the roots of Daoist thought, and an inheritance and promotion of Daoist culture and Daoist spirit. , will surely effectively gather the ideological consensus of Daoist circles around the world and promote the innovation and healthy inheritance of Daoism around the world.
